Ch. Showtime's Shock and Awe, ROM
"Sarge"

  Long time coming

It's been over a year since this site has been updated. There have been many changes in the past year.

Sandi got her first "recent" horse about two years ago, and it's been a bit of a life-changing event. We've been through SEVERAL horses since the first (who is still with us), and currently have three. Sonic, Shady and Roo live in our "rearranged" yard, and have the run of the forest in the back.

We've suspended our breeding program in the past year, and our numbers of dogs are slowly dwindling. Sarge (pictured to the left) is still with us, showing occasionally at Specialties (34 Specialty Best in Shows to date), and running in the field hoping to earn a Field Championship. Our old girls Rosie and Rita are living a life of leisure, but occasionally get to play a bit. Rosie, at 10, ran in her first Field Trial this past month and took a first place. She's slowing down, but still has some spunk. Our Golden Retriever, Booboo, likes to go with us when we're riding our horses, and our Wirehaired Dachshund, Cooper, is staying with his breeder and showing as a Special ... two group placements in the past month. The newest addition to the family is "Shooter", another Basset courtesy of Scott and Betsy Deans of Foxglen Bassets, will be starting his show career sometime this summer.

Over the next few weeks, I hope to update the various pages of this site to reflect our current "family".
